Endermologie highly improves the unsightly appearance of cellulite. It does so by repeatedly smoothing out the tissues underneath the skin and redistributing these adhesions and fat cells. Our skillfully glided treatment head will break down problem tissue to give it a more smoother and even, improved appearance. Each participant will have differen elements to their participation in our program as well (i.e. some will require more treatments than others). ALL will have minimum program requirements to achieve desired results. Is it possible that I will not see an improvement in appearance? The answer to this is YES as well. Endermologie does temporarily improve the appearance of cellulite; however, this is under many specific conditions. All of these will be reviewed in your Initial Endermologie Consultation Appointment. For example - we require participants drink at least two liters of water per day to flush the toxins we will "break free" during your endermologie appointments. If a client does not follow our specific instructions - they will not receive the same results/benefits as someone who does. Will Endermologie get rid of everything or do everything I wish or need? NO. Endermologie will not change who you are. Regularly there is one or two deep dimples that just can not be redistributed although they are regularly improved. And, it does not eliminate the fat cells beneath the skin - it simply redistributes them to create a more smooth and even, less rimpled appearance. Endermologie makes the skin healthier and function better. Toxins and excess water retention is freed and eliminated from the system. While we have had many clients drop a dress size during their program - this is merely a water loss once we eliminate the factors that originally created this extra "bloating". While Endermologie results can be profound in some, it will not make a person drop to a size 2 from a size 8 due to the fact that it is a redistribution and health enhancement process. It is non-invasive and a simple process and philosophy proven to work and approved by the U.S. FDA (Food & Drug Administration). Could my cellulite see better results with Liposuction? NO. Some of our most popular and frequent customers are post-liposuction clients who have had liposuction to improve the appearance of their dimples. Instead, this procedure worsened their condition when their skin started to sag with the existing dimples plus the new scar tissue created from this highly invasive surgical technique. Granted - all clients are physically smaller and have lost weight after a liposuction procedure. But, if a client already has poor elasticity which is one of the main causes of cellulite, the skin will sag and be looser once the deep fat underneath is removed. Endermologie is the one tried and true method to improve the appearance of cellulite. Why does it say Endermologie is only a "temporary" improvement. Endermologie is much like exercise. Just like you wouldn't see much difference in your physical appearance after one workout at the gym, you'll see similar difference after one treatment of Endermologie. Over time, results do multiply and become noticeable. And much like exercising, if you stop, you will no longer see the results of your work outs - the same applies for Endermologie. If and when you stop, the connective tissue is no longer redispersed and will inevitably become "matted" again trapping extra water, toxins, bloating and fat which will recreate the unsightly dimpling and puckering effect. How will my results differ from others? Do results differ from client to client? Results do differ from client to client and will depend highly on external factors not related to our professional clinic. A client's own genetics, lifestyle, commitment to program, etc. will reflect the results each individual will see. When will I see results? Some clients notice recognizable differences within three treatments in smaller areas such as triceps or abdomen. Some clients require all 14 treatments of the initial intensive program before they notice any difference at all. The tried and true answer is results will highly depend on external factors such as the client's genetics, lifestyle and commitment to program. It should be noted that we see a definitive difference between participants who enhance their lifestyle and commitments versus those who do not. Where will I see results? Interesting enough, clients usually see an improvement first in the areas they noticed their newest cellulite. And the first areas clients saw their cellulite are the last and hardest areas to make improvements. In other words, old cellulite is hardest to treat while the newest cellulite is easiest - regardless of physical placement or location on the body. How many appointments will I need? This depends entirely on the client and the type of results they seek. Some just wish for an improvement while others seek total elimination! Additional appointments are obviously required for additional results. There is no set number of treatments for a result. Results are highly dependent on how each individual responds to this treatment, how "stubborn" their cellulite is, lifestyle, genetics, etc. We require a minimum of 14 appointment to start. After 14 appointments we will re-evaluate to determine how many more appointments are needed to achieve each individual's goals. It is difficult to ascertain how many appointments are truly needed until we see how that client responds to the first 14 treatments. Each client will respond differently based on their own external factors. How often and frequent are the appointments? 48 hours must pass in between appointments. Treatments are also not much more effective after their first 35 minutes. We recommend appointments 1 to 3 times per week during the initial intensive program when a client is attempting to achieve better results. We recommend appointments twice a month (at minimum) to maintain results. How long will my results last if I stop? This depends on the participant. However, we recommend not stopping. Treatment can be continued as minimally as twice a month. Clients who have stopped have regularly come back and have had to start the initiation process all over again to re-obtain their results . This becomes harder and harder over time. Because results happen gradually (instead of instantly), it is common for a client to forget "how bad" their condition was before they started. We have regularly seen clients stop treatment simply because they forgot their old appearance. Then, when the cellulite returns - so do they - with much added expense. We recommend keeping your investment with a minimal (healthy) ongoing commitment to the program instead of stopping then duplicating it! Your cellulite will return if you stop your program - it's in your genetics and it is your defined skin "type". Not only does the cellulite eventually come back when you stop, but it usually worsens over time as the elasticity and overall health of these tissues continue to decline with our normal aging process. Are results guaranteed? NO. We are only responsible for your appointments at our office. There are minimal program requirements such as drinking two liters of water per day, maintaining or improving your daily diet, etc. Regrettably, if a client goes home, quits their exercise program and adds cheeseburgers, chocolate and ice cream to their daily diet because they think Endermologie will deliver results regardless, they will be sorrily mistaken. Each participant will highly effect their own individual results with their own commitment to our Program. Can I do this type of professional treatment to myself? No. Certified Endermologist of Spa Newbury go through extensive training including extensive observation of professional treatments, a professional certification program through the Manufacturer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, etc. Endermologists are taught specific maneuvers and applications to enhance superior performance of our professional use (only) machine for maximum results. There are many professional opinions (including ours) that assert your results will be best with a licensed endermologist who has properly trained and certified in the practice of Endermologie - and then practice at a licensed, experienced clinic and establishment like ours at Spa Newbury. Are there reasons I can not have or participate in the Endermologie Program? YES. There are many contraindications. These will be reviewed with you during your Initial Endermologie Consultation as to whether or not it would be appropriate for you to continue into the program. The most major factors that would disqualify a candidate are blood clots, pregnancy, serious heart disease and disorders, cancer, infectious diseases, etc. Basically any type of condition or state that could be worsened or compromised by the increase of circulation would be contraindicated for the practice of Endermologie. Interesting facts: The majority of our clients are fit and attractive women who have done everything to eliminate their genetic heritage of cellulite. Because this is a condition that can not be exercised or dieted away - it is the one thing that "plagues" their life and curtails them from showing off that fabulous figure underneath, or commonly discourages them from pursuing it altogether when they can not eliminate this genetic factor on their own. The majority of our clients are under a size 8, have not worn shorts in years and always wear sarongs or cover-ups with their swim suits despite the fact that they are usually the healthiest and most fit person of their group.
